Exit Olbia keeping the coastline to your left and take the road towards Sassari-Cagliari, after approximately 2/3 km of single-lane coastal road, you will find signposts for Nuoro. Turn towards Nuoro and onto the motorway for San Teodoro-Nuoro. The Olbia-Nuoro road is a linkroad of the SS 131. It is a motorway, so we suggest, as per the highway code, not to exceed 90 kmh, and furthermore to adhere to the speed limits where inferior. After around 60 km, you will arrive in the industrial area of Nuoro. Here, make sure to follow the signs for Nuoro to your right, as you will drive towards Cagliari if you go straight on. Once at Nuoro, follow the signs for Nuoro Ospedale and then Lanusei-Arbatax (you go through a tunnel of around 1km). Continue along the motorway until the junction for Villagrande Strisaili which you will find to the left of a small Esso petrol station after around 40 minutes drive from Nuoro. Once through the S.Barbara forest, and upon reaching the junction for Villagrande Strisaili, follow the signs for Tortolì. When you arrive at Tortolì, continue on towards Arbatax and turn right after the chemist. About 300 metres further on you will see the Borgo degli Ulivi Residence on your left.

Exit the port on the east side towards via Roa, viale Colombo, viale Poetto, until the traffic island: follow the signs for Villasimius and after around 3 km (at the end of viale Poetto-lungomare) head towards th SS 554. Once you reach the SS 554, follow the signs for Muravera-Arbatax-SS 125, turn right and you will find yourself on the SS 125. After passing through Muravera and Villaputzu, continue along the SS 125 and, approximately 30km from Villaputzu, you will see the village of Tertenia on your left; the state road continues, passing through two tunnels. Once out of the second tunnel you will see signs for Tortolì, passing through the village of Barisardo. When you arrive at Tortolì, continue on towards Arbatax and turn right after the chemist. About 300 metres further on you will see the Borgo degli Ulivi Residence on your left.

Follow the SS554 for Villasimius until you see signs for Muravera-Arbatax on the right. After passing through Muravera and Villaputzu, continue along the SS 125 and, approximately 30km from Villaputzu, you will see the village of Tertenia on your left; the state road continues, passing through two tunnels. Once out of the second tunnel you will see signs for Tortolì, passing through the village of Barisardo. When you arrive at Tortolì, continue on towards Arbatax and turn right after the chemist.
